WIP - Wednesday 04-04-2007

I am working on my two QOV quilts and a baby quilt and pillow for my great niece who is due the end of June. It feels so good to get back in the studio sewing. I have been reading your blogs and you all are so busy, creative and I have missed so much. I will slowly be getting back to leaving comments as soon as I get my first QOV quilt completed. I am one month be hide and want to catchup so blogging will be slow for awhile.

The top is a flannel pieced panel I purchase from JoAnns.

I will be using a bright pink flannel fabric for the backing.

I will be using this flower on a pillow top with the same bright pink flannel fabric.

When my sons and nephews were babies I sewed for them but as they got older they wanted nothing to do with my sewing. I have been waiting for a girl in the family and now we are going to have a member of the family and I am so happy.

WIP - Wednesday 03-14-2007

I am working on my QOV quilts. Because of my crafty slump it is taking days just to cut the fabric.

This is a sketch I did over a year ago. I had it enlarged and copies made and it has been sitting in a cardboard roll. As part of Judy's Stash Reduction for March I am going to use blues and greens for the water. I am going to use yellows and oranges hand dyes for the compass. I have alot of blues and just a bit of the other colors.

Because I do not have email address for Susan C and Lori (A.K.A Elkhoundmom) I wanted to say thank-you for your comments. Susan I do not know if you have a blog, if so please email me with the address. Lori I do read your blog, but I am bad at leaving comments.

WIP - Wednesday 03-09-2007

I have been offline for the past 3 days, because of hardware problem so I am trying to catch up.

I am making a few quilt tops for Quilt Studio Quilt of Valor Female Project and these are the fabrics I am going to use.
I have over 100 email messages and over 500 blogs to read. I hate being offline for such a long time. I wish I could say I did alot in my sewing room but I spent most of the time dealing with caffeine withdrawals headaches.

Thank-you everyone who left comments about my wooden spools and Shamrock Wall Quilt.

Now it is time to read emails and blogs. I will try to comment as time permits.
