Siggy Swap Blocks Are Here

My siggy blocks arrived in the mail yesterday. I was so excited when Andy, my mailman rang the door bell and said I had a package from Australia and had to sign for it. He knows I am a quilter and I told him all about the siggy blocks.

I love all the blocks! I can not believe all triangle fabrics in the blocks are different. Only a few of muslin signature blocks fabrics are the same.

I am going to be looking and touching these blocks for awhile before I start piecing. I am also going to wait for a few siggy blocks that I am swapping one on one. If you want to swap a block with me please send me a email.

Sunday

Today was a very restful day, not doing much. All night it hailed and then change to rain. In the afternoon the rain turned to snow and we have about one new inch of snow but it is very wet. My back yard looks like a lake.

I am hoping this week is better than last week and I can get back into the studio. I have had my siggy block done for over a week and need to get them in the mail.

Siggy Blocks and Winter Wonderland in Chicagoland

Today I am working on my Siggy blocks and watching the snow fall. At times the snow is blowing so hard I can not see across the street. We have over 8 inches of new snow and more still to come. My son shoveled 3 hours ago and you can not tell. The snow drift on the side of the house it about 2 feet. The bigger dogs are having so much fun outside. Little Max is not so happy. I shoveled a path for him and a space for him to do what he needs to do outside and then he runs right back into the house.
