WIP - Wednesday 04-04-2007

I am working on my two QOV quilts and a baby quilt and pillow for my great niece who is due the end of June. It feels so good to get back in the studio sewing. I have been reading your blogs and you all are so busy, creative and I have missed so much. I will slowly be getting back to leaving comments as soon as I get my first QOV quilt completed. I am one month be hide and want to catchup so blogging will be slow for awhile.

The top is a flannel pieced panel I purchase from JoAnns.
I will be using a bright pink flannel fabric for the backing.

I will be using this flower on a pillow top with the same bright pink flannel fabric.

When my sons and nephews were babies I sewed for them but as they got older they wanted nothing to do with my sewing. I have been waiting for a girl in the family and now we are going to have a member of the family and I am so happy.

this is going to be a great quilt and pillow! How fun that you get to sew for a girl! Way better then for boys LOL all the ribbons and bows and lace and beautiful pastel colors! Enjoy!

Lovely baby quilt Debbie!
Little girls are lovely to sew for. Luckily my little Grandson still loves his quilts, & I think he always will. My sons do.

Isn't it fun to quilt for a little one in the family? Those are so pretty and feminine.

Oh how lucky!! There is nothing better than someone to sew for that you love. I was blessed with a daughter who for the moment has outgrown my sewing. I know she will return just like I did to my Mom.

I will be waiting awhile for a girl to share my quilting passion with. Beautiful quilt, Debi!

Hey, I have a new blog address, it's http://thejuryisstillout.blogspot.com. I accidently 'deleted' my old one. I could shoot myself.

What an adorable baby quilt, Debbi! And I'm so glad to see you back--I missed you. :) Your bear from Kristen is so cute too! :)

I saw that pannel and fab-liques at Joann's recently. They are absolutely adorable! I think the new girl is going to be spoiled.
