Oh what a fun quilt and the receiving blankets are such a great idea. I just finished one as a gift for someone my mother works with. I know we used and used the ones for my daughter. We still use them as quick changing pads, a quick cuddle blankie, etc. What a thoughtful gift.

Nice! I didn't get any idea of the scale of the quilt till I saw it on the bench... for some reason, it looked much smaller in the picture by itself. She'll love it. :)

What a great idea for a baby quilt! I need to make two of them and am looking for something quick and easy yet sweet and that sums of your quilt.
