TGIF - I Love Fridays

Today my son had half a day of school because it is the end of the quarter so we went out to lunch. As I look at him I can see the little boy is gone and he is now a young man. This time next year he will be working on the paperwork for an appointment to the Naval Academy or going to college under the NROTC program. He has been in NJROTC the past three years and loves it. He wants to make the Navy his career. Also next year my older son will be graduation college and is planning on going into the Marines as an officer. I will have both my sons in the military and I pray every night the war will end very soon. I also think about all the service men and women and pray for their safe return home.

Today I have been making More Fall Table Runners, Coasters and aHanukkah Art Quilts. Here is a photo of the Coasters and Table Runners I have finished.

Your sons are brave and noble, but I am with you in hoping that there will be no need for their bravery in any conflict. May it end soon.

Wow, Debbi, you have really been on a fantastic roll, girlfriend!! They are all wonderful! :D Thanks so much for checking on me and Randy---Randy is really having a hard go of it---and I just got back from the ER----would you believe pneumonia? Yuk! Hopefully I'll have more energy in a couple of days. :) You must be so very proud of your boys, girl! I do hope this insane war is over before either of them are called into that mess. Sending prayers for their safety.
