Phone Calls, Appointments and Hospital Red Tape

Today I spent most of the morning on the phone with Doctors, Nurses and the Hospital, scheduling blood test, chest xrays, other pre op test and my second angioplasty. I will be going to the hospital on Monday for testing and the angioplasty is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5th at 9:30am. I am a bit pissed off that I need to repeat the test that I had 6 weeks ago when I had the last heart attack and first angioplasty. The hospital policy is all test must be done within 1 month of any procedure. I should only have to been in the hospital 2 or 3 days this time. I want to be home on Friday, March 7th because it is my son BB 22nd birthday.

I did go to JoAnn Fabrics this afternoon to get navy thread. What is with the small spools of Coats thread? What happened to the 300 and 500 yards spools of thread? All I could get is 250 yard. I am glad I was able to use two 50% off coupons and one 40% off coupon.

Tomorrow I will be at Great Lakes Naval Base for my son JB's drill meet. I love going to the drill meets but hate sitting is the stands all day. My old/fat butt just can not take it any more.

Have A Great Weekend and Happy Sewing!!

I have gotten so far behind on my blog reading since Dad died and I'm taking care of Mom so when I saw this post I went back and read what you've been up to. I sure will be praying for you and am glad you are getting another chance. Congratulations on your walking regimen. Relax and go with the flow while in the hospital (I know it's a pain) and get back to those blue jean squares. What are they going to be? Some day I want to do a jeans quilt.

Debbi, You don't know me but I occasionally follow your blog, found you from Kate's Quilting and wanted to let you know that in 1999 I had an angioplasty after 4 yrs of angian all day/every day and 6 wks later the pain started again and I had to have a triple bypass. You can generally blame it on insurance because they only let the drs do one artery angio and HOPE it will take care of it until you are on someone elses insurance, it works for 10 years for some people. I will pray that this angioplasty and stent will be the answer for you this time.
