I had to practice before making string blocks for Mary's Heart Strings Quilt Project.These two blocks are 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 and are made from my sons old cotton boxer shorts. I have been saving old cotton clothes and blue jeans for years and the tubs are over flowing just like my fabric stash.
