Life Goes On But I am Numb and in a Funk

Hi,

The death of my Mom has left me Numb and in a Funk. For the past 7 weeks I have done very little. I putter around the house day after day and I have nothing to show for my time.

The beginning of last week I decided it is time to start living life. I cleaned my sewing studio (dinning room). I can now get to part of my fabric stash, supplies, computer and sewing machine. I still have a lot of fabric piled on the couch in the living room that needs to be put in bins. I need to purchase a computer desk and bookcase to free up some more bins for fabric.

Over the weekend I started catching up with the Yahoo groups that I belong to. Some of the groups I joined just as Mom got sick and I have not sent a introduction or even posted a message. Three MSN groups I belonged to have dropped me for lack of participation.

I had to cancel a wall hanging project for a client when Mom first got sick. It is hanging on my design wall calling my name. On Friday I sewed a few diamond blocks for the boarder. I just didn’t have the concentration and only sewed together diamonds.

As I am typing this it hits me, I need a To-Do-List.

A special Thank-You to everyone who has posted to my blog and sent emails. Your words of encouragement have been very helpful.

Off to start my To-Do-List.

Have a Great Day!!!!!

Glad to hear you are back on line and slowly getting back into the rythm of life.

It takes time, that's all there is to it. Take the time you need. Someone has the CSS and directions to post your goals, etc. on your sidebar - peachquilting, I think.
