I Am Sewing Like a Mad Women

I finished 5 blocks for moms purple quilt. I am not sure what I want to do next. I need to design 4 blocks for the empty spaces.

These are the first 2 blocks I am making for the Quilts For Leukaemia project. Please go to Dordogne Quilter to find out more about this project.

I am participating because I have Myelodysplastic Syndromes MDS. The Syndrome I have is Refractory Anaemia with Excess Blasts. I was diagnosed in May 2004. I am doing OK. I just move slower, take naps, stay away from sick people and I am always cold. I no longer work outside the house. I can devote my time to my family and quilting. I am able to quilt, dye and paint fabric anytime I want.

Those lovely blocks would look wonderful with plain blocks for a nice quilting design to shine between them! Maybe some feather wreaths with a little traupunto!

The purple blocks are great. Even something plain but maybe quilted with wreaths as Deb suggested would be nice.

Your purple blocks are so beautiful. Your red and white blocks are great, too. Thanks for sharing your personal connection to Clare's project, too.

The purple blocks are looking so nice. I'm sure you know your options, but adding applique blocks would soften it up, or another paper pieced block set that coordinates to create secondary patterns would be good.
So nice of you to make blocks for a good cause.
I wish you good health.
