Bad Weather with Dogs and My Kitchen Table

It is raining outside and my two big dogs want to be outside. The yard were they have worn out the grass is soaking wet and getting mudder. What does that mean....very wet and dirty dogs. Thankfully I have lots of old towels. Max took 1 step outside and backed up. He hates getting his feet wet.

I am going to spend the day sewing. I have Leaf Season "A" blocks to finish and a few more leaf blocks. I still need to get the 4 wall hangings quilted, maybe this weekend.

This is my kitchen table with a table runner and place mats that I made years ago. I just love the bright colors in the table runner. I sold many of this pattern when I was doing craft shows and in 4 Country Sampler Stores. That was a life time ago when I much younger and could keep up with demands of a home business.

This is a close up of the table runner and place mats.

A very special Thanks for eveyone who has left comments and sent emails to me. I want to answer everyone but takes time. Even if I do not resond to you, please know I read your comments, emails and visit your blog.

Have a Great Day!

Debbi

So many things we did seem a life time ago. What a pleasant place you have made for your family to sit and enjoy each other at meal time......... Where are the candles?

It is nice to be able to decorate with something one has made for their home...I love doing that.

Know what you mean about wet outside and dogs...Venus and Zac will play in the rain and roll in the mud...drives me nuts...Isis is too much a lady to get her puppy feet wet!!!!

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for visiting my blog. I grew up in the suburbs there -- Western Springs, Lombard, Aurora.

I love that runner, Debbi! :D I have a piece of autumn fabric that I love but haven't been able to decide what to do with it...I want to keep the "picture", so a runner like yours would be perfect! Thanks for sharing the picture!! :D
