It is -9 degrees here in Chicagoland

This is what it looks like outside today in Chicagoland. The sun is very bright and the sky is very blue. The temperature is -9. Also schools are closed. This is the first time in many years.

My dogs do not want to stay outside for any length of time. Summer is part husky and loves the cold but -9 is even to cold for her.

I am going to spend the day sewing and staying warm.

Have A Great Day!

Isn't it nice to stay in and sew and watch the cold outside. I don't blame your Summer, I wouldn't stay outside either.

It's really cold here too. We let Simmba, who is totally an outdoor dog, sleep in the house last night. IT was -37 this morning. He was eager to get outside this morning though. We'll probably let him in again tongiht. Wouldn't want him to freeze his little nose. Lol.

Yeah, they closed school today, (which they never do!) because it was -9 with the wind chill, so I understand. Unfortunately, I still had to go out in it.

I had to go with the Colts as Peyton is a former Vol quarterback. I lived there for so many years, and they put up with me being a GATOR fan. What's worse? I'm married to a SEMINOLE fan!

Equally cold here, but not the beautiful blue sky. I have actually had over a week of cold snowing sewing time. My husband is away, and it's too cold to do much, so it has been very pleasant.

Too bad about the Bears.

So sorry your Bears lost, Debbi. :c I thought about you the whole time we watched the game. It was a good game, tho. That picture is gorgeous...but man, oh man, -9!!!! Makes me shiver just reading it!! :) Hope you got lots of sewing done. :P
