This is a piece I started in November 2006 in a class I took with Melody Johnson.
I have finished the hand and machine quilting all that is left is the binding.

Hey, this has a Melody Johnson feel to it. Very beautiful!
Love it. It also reminds me of Melody. THat can't be bad. Her stuff is fantastic. You can't beat hand-dyes for great colors.
**********UPDATE POSTING*********
I just added to my post it was in a class that Melody taught.
I love Melody Johnson's work. Your piece turned out beautifully!
Thanks for "still missing me", it means alot.
I'm jealous you've taken her class, I'd love to some day but it's doubtful our paths will cross...other than reading her blog faithfully!
Hey, this looks great! Love your colors and composition!
I love this. It has those "no name colors" (Melody's name) which I love.
Beautiful! The depth of those colors is stunning isn't it? You get credit for the composition though, and that's great too.
That is very beautiful! Your hand dyes, I presume...your colors are great...so vivid!
That's a stunner! Wow!! Great job, Debbi... hand and machine quilting?
