Bake Sale, Gymnastics, Walking

Yesterday was a very busy day. The past two weeks I have been getting out of the house and going for a walk. When I stay in the house my pedometer at the end of the day displays less than 500 steps. When I go out and take a walk I have been able to get up to 7000 steps. Yesterday at the end of the day it displayed 10495 steps. I walked around the park by the house and I did just under 9000 steps.

Last night was the bake sale for my sons gymnastics team and the steps sure did added up. The bake sale did not go as good as the past 5. We had five teams, but not many parents showed up. We had lots of baked goods and plenty to drink. We made only $180.00 dollars. This is way below the other bake sales. The parents did a great job sending baked goods and drinks and we had donations from friends of the families.

At the gymnastics meet I was honor by our Coach and team by giving the top five All-Around Gymnast their medals.

I just got back from walk around the park with my neighbor Trish and we did just about a mile. My pedometer did not register any steps. So much for the cheap model.

Now it is time to get back to the studio before I have to pickup my sons at school and train.

I am having so much fun looking and touching my siggy blocks. I started search for each block maker then I found Bea from Capricorn Quilts created a list with links. Thank-you Bea! You made it so easy for me.

I had a pedometer. Lost it before I even tried it out! Maybe I really didn't want to know the truth!

It's too bad about the bake sale.

I used to use a pedometer, but haven't for quite a while. I'm waiting for our new house because we are thinking of getting a house with space for a treadmill.

You're doing great on your walking. I sure like your photos of the Chicago Quilt Festival.
