WIP - Wednesday 03-18-2007

I have nothing to show for WIP. I have been looking at all the books and patterns I got at IQF. I really need to sit at the sewing machine and do some sewing. The next few days are going to be busy. On Saturday we will be going to Ebert High School in Anderson, Indiana for my sons NJROTC drill meet. We have to leave the house at O dark 30 hours. The drive is about 4 hours so I will be able to get some hand work done. Saturday is also JB 16th birthday. What a way to spend his birthday, but he does love the drill meets. If by chance you are at the drill meet let me know. It would be nice to say hi.

I am slowly learning how to deal with my depression by taking walks, eating better, letting go of the greif over my mom and cousin deaths and getting back into the studio. I am thinking about starting a new project and putting all other projects in the UFO basket for awhile. With all my new toys from the IQF I have so many new ideas running thru my head.

love your crocus picture on your side bar... really cheered my day, as ours are just thinking about blooming. Glad you're finding ways of dealing with the depression, I know just how debillitating it can be... Know that a slow steady road out will get you there ;-)

I'm there with you on the depression. My meds are finally taking effect but I still haven't managed to be creative in a while. Thanks for sharing.

I hope you heal soon.

How lucky to have met Mark! I can't wait to see him in Maine in July.

Thanks for the tour of the show and all your goodies.

Good luck to your son this weekend.

I'm pleased to hear that you're beginning to feel better. One day at a time, that's all any of us can do. I think your reasoning of putting away UFO's and working on one project at a time would be helpful to still the mind. Sending you a big hug for sun-shiney days ahead!

It took me MONTHS after Mama died before I could get motivated to sew anything. A new project sounds like just the right thing to jumpstart your creativity. I know when I hit a slump I always fell better if I make a small, quick, FUN project. (((HUGS)))
