Dyed Fabric From Today

This is what I did today with a new batch of dye.

I love how this turned out. It looks like the sea to me.
I love this to.

I have two more pieces in the dryer and will show another day.
This will be the last of dyeing for awhile. It is time to get in the studio and do some quilting. I need to make room for my new dyed fabric so I will be down sizing my commercial fabrics.

Beautiful projects in so many shades and variations. I have always loved dyeing fabrics and the excitement of opening it up is like a package at Christmas. My attempts have been so simple compared to yours so I can come here and just savor the beauty you unfold...bit by bit. It's obvious you appreciate the whole transformative process and we certainly enjoy your sharing them with us! Great fun seeing all of these and best part...knowing you did all of the clean-up and I still got to have some of the fun ;)

They're all gorgeous, your results are both fascinating and intricate at the same time. I think each one is it's own work of art. Well done!
