I had dyed fabric from a few years ago the was ugly so I over dyed and painted it on Sunday. I made a Star of David stamp from foam shapes and glued it to wood. Below is the fabric drying on the fence. I am going to use this fabric for Hanukkah Postcards and trade with my Jewish Quilters Group.
Stamped Star of David on white muslin then over dyed with Navy MX dye.
Because the sun was so bright you can see the fence thru the fabric.
The colors are also washed out from the bright sun. I have not washed the
fabric so I am sure the colors will washout a bit.
Early today I mono printed old ugly dyed fabric and will post photos tomorrow.
The new TV season is starting so I am off to watch the new shows.
Take Care!

I love that dyed fabric can never be a disaster. If it doesn't work the first time just over dye it!
Your pieces look great.
what a clever woman! And I love those Star of David stamped pieces.
great job "improving" ugly fabric!
I always love the window shopping of your fabrics on display...they're so beautiful!
