Busy Times

Friday: I could not use my computer because my master hard drive was 98% full. Now I know why my computer was so slow for the past few weeks. You would think with my computer back ground I would know to check. I spent most of the afternoon and night moving files, photos and music to the second hard drive. Now the master hard drive has 12% free space. I will have to purchase a bigger hard drive soon. Then the fun will begin reloading all the software. I did get a few yards of fabric painted in the morning. Blogger will not let me load photos so here is the link to my webshots.

Saturday: We spent the day at Great Lakes Naval Base with DSs NJROTC unit for a BBQ and Assault Craft Ride on Lake Michigan. Click here for photos.

Sunday: The weather changed from the 80's and sunny to 60's and rainy by 3pm. We had the morning to do yard work and closed the pool. Both sons were home and we all sat down to have dinner together. I cherish the time I get to spend with my family.

Plans for next week: Work on blocks for challenges. Organized fabric stash.

I'd be thrilled to have you join the Quilt for an Hour project!

My son just had to clean off his hard drive too. He said he deleted about 200 podcasts . . and he wondered why his computer was so slow!

Your Saturday entry made me smile. For military families, some of the oddest things just naturally go together -- like a ride on an assault craft and a BBQ.

You must be proud of your son.
