Wow I Did Sleep Late Today and My Sewing/Dining Room

I woke up at 10AM today. I must of needed the sleep.

Today I will be cutting fabric for the Leaf Season Quilt.

I am still undecided how to quilt the Leaf Wall hanging. I will be giving 3 wall hanging to away to my neighbors. All summer they watch me dye fabric and always ask what I am doing. Now I will share the fruits of my labors with them. I have been stockpiling my hand dyes and the time has come to use them.

I got my sewing/dining room as clean as it's going to get. I still need to purchase a computer desk and wire baskets for fabric. So for the time I have my fabric stuffed into the wire racks and in 3 plastic tubs, my computer key board sits on a snack table and the monitor is on a shelf. In the old house I had the 3rd level of the house all to myself and it was big. I still have tubs and boxes in the screen room. Someday 1 of my sons will leave for good and I will have a real dining room and sewing room all to myself again.

Tonight we will be a 4 dog house. My neighor will be out of town for the night so we have another black lab staying the night. Max is not happy with another male dog in the house. Where are Paul and I going to sleep? Wish we had a dog house!

What a cozy room! The bolts above the window made me smile. Now I'm wondering where do you get them, and what kind are they? Always on the lookout for good sources! :)

You have a very understanding family. I don't think my hubby and kids would have been that gracious with me. That is one of the reasons I didn't quilt for many years. Do you want the dog house for you and your hubby or for the dogs? (joking) You will be busy to use up all that fabric.

Gee I wish I could be your neighbor. Not only do you supply pet care, but you're making quilts for them too! How sweet you are!

Thanks for visiting my blog too!

It looks like you're making good use of your space! Nice job!

Wow! In fact OMG! was my first reaction - I'm impressed. So tidy! I'll get over it soon LOL. 4 dogs sounds like fun. I think at least 3 is required to have a good pack, but we are officially only allowed to have 2 here. The dog catcher is pretty nasty so I dare not get another one.

After viewing your organized area I feel so bad about how mine looks.

Our dear Honey (a Jack Russel) will not allow any other dog anywhere near. How good of you to allow a sleep over.
