Monday

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was very busy and a lot of fun. I now have a cold and feel crappy. I have done 3 loads of laundry. I wonder how long the folded clean clothes will sit in the baskets.

I am far behind on Judy's Gratitude Quilt Project. I am still cutting fabric for class on Friday. I have not touched the Leaf Season Wall hangings. Also the house needs cleaning. Notice house cleaning is last on my list. I hate to clean the house. I am very lucky my husband does all the cooking. He is a great cook and loves it. He never asks for help, but I always offer. When I was sick and in bed for months he did all the house work, drove me to doctor's appointments, took care of the kids and dogs. He did all this for me and still worked a full time job. Now he has to deal with me being moody all the time since my mom passed away. He is a great and outstanding husband and father.

My Fall Table Runner and Place Mats that are on my kitchen table. I can't use the dining room table because it is my sewing room table. I will clean it off the day before the holiday and decorate it then.

Have A Great Day,

Debbi

I'm with you on the house cleaning. I hate it too. I would be better if it stayed clean for more than two minutes, and we have no kids at home to blame the mess on! I do like cooking though, most of the time, but I like quilting better.

Sounds like you picked a winner. :)

Bless your heart. I am so sorry for your loss. Maybe you have allergies, since you raked leaves yesterday and today you have a cold. And loss has a way of tearing your defenses down, huh? I love your table runner- thanks for sharing- it reminds me of a Wysoki print. So what do you think would be a "right" price? Most of the fabrics around my dragon fly postcard are from my hand-dyed stuff. They just look good with anything, eh? Good luck with yours- let me know if you need any help. Oh, and I almost forgot- love the denim quilts! Such sweet memories.

Hope your cold clears soon.
You are lucky with your husband. Mine is similar, will cook if I am not feeling like it, & does the vaccuuming for me, because of my back. Also pegs out our washing, so I am pretty lucky too.
Keep Well!
