More Playing With Fabric

These are three cuts from fabric I dyed a few weeks ago. Today I used paintstiks and rubbing plates to add textures. I have no plans for these at this time.

I over dyed this piece with water downed Setacolor Green Opaque and sun printed with leaves. I like how some of the original colors are show thru the over dyed green color. I will be adding this piece of fabric to my stash for use at a later date.

Your whole life is such a process of 'becoming' something new all the time, Debbi. You have so much to experience, so much to always be coping with. But, you are truly 'doing' it, handling it, staying on top of it. To me, your life as a fibre artist is paralleling this process. I see so much growth, so much integration of lots of different techniques you've shown us over time. It is fascinating and I admire you, so much!

love the circular rubbing plat you've used. The visual texturing of the hand dyes is enhanced even more with the layer of painting :-)
