Saturday - Nov 17th

********
Today we were up a O dark 30 (5:30AM) for an NJROTC PT meet. Our team did OK and my son's relay team came in second. Today was a good day to be inside because the weather here in Chicagoland is cold, gray and raining. The wind has died down so the leaves I raked yesterday are still at the curb. I am tired and will head to bed for a nap so I will not get much sewing done today.

Tomorrow we are busy again, so another day without much sewing. I can't wait for Monday to have time all to myself.

This MEME has been on several blogs. Open up the book you’re currently reading to page 161 and read the 6th sentence on the page, then think of 5 bloggers to tag.

I am currently reading Patrica Cornwell's Book Black Notice.

This is what I found: "When Marino tapped on her window, she turned to us, startled."

I am only on page 121 so I am not sure what this means and I do not want to peek to find out.

If you would like to join in please do so.

More fall colors from my yard and neighborhood.

Hope you are having a great day!

I always love your pictures! Congrats to your son on his achievement. We still say, "I'm coming home at dark-thirty!"

As for the Meme? I don't think you want me to quote a quilting book. I hardly ever read anything else.

I wasn't going to do this meme, but then I looked at what the sentence in my book was, I decided to go ahead... Like I need more memes!

Beautiful fall foliage pix. We are expecting a Thanksgiving day storm after weeks and weeks of no rain and a summer drought so our leaves may all be gone after Thursday. Interesting MEME. I just got through reading a book of my brother's about the Knights Templar but don't have one going now. Makes me want to get going with another.
