What I Did On My Hiatus - Monday Dec 31

I was so tired and all I wanted was to sleep but I had places to go and things to see. Today in the morning we visted the USCG Pensacola Station and went for a boat ride.



After lunch we went to the beach for a picnic and I got to lay in the sand by the water. Most of the trip it rained and temp were in the low 40s. Today the sun shined and it was about 60. For a Chicago girl this was a heat wave.



To celebrate the New Year the cadets bowled and I slept on a chair in the back of the bowling alley. How I could sleep with all the noise and flashing lights is unknown to me. The two hours of sleep was the best I had all week.
