Sunday's Walk In Chicagoland

Today I walked around Lake Arlington in Arlington Height, Illinois. The path is 1.75 miles. My goal for this week is one mile. I over did it. When I got to the one mile mark I did a happy dance because I did not have any pain, my walking pace is much faster than in the past and I did not have any chest pains. When I finished the whole 1.75 miles I felt great. Tomorrow I will be doing another path that is only 1.5 miles

Here are photos from todays walking path.

Wow. I know that we're on the same continent, but with the snow and all it's like another world. I always think about the little creatures when I see those photos, wondering how they survive the winters.

So glad you're feeling better, little by little, and are able to ramp up the physical activity.

Walking is so good for you. As others have said, don't overdo!
It does look very cold, & even the ducks look cold!
